I am a final-year Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Waterloo, and I will be in the job market in 2024.

My doctoral research is mainly in studying trustworthy deep generative models, with applications in out-of-distribution detection and differential privacy. Before Ph.D., I have studied biomedical pattern recognition during my Master’s research, with applications of EEG (electroencephalogram) in sleep. See my full publication list here.

I am primarily interested in applied scientist (or similar) positions, turning the latest AI advances into business. I am open to positions relating to machine learning/pattern recognition, generative AI, and AI for health.
